Raversijde

 

 

This museum is on the Koningklijk Domein van Raversijde ("Royal Domain Raversijde"). It consist of two parts. One part is the former World War I Batterie Aachen, second part is de former World War II Batterie Tirpitz/Salzwedel-Neu. A fine museum, with bunker equipped with original German equipment.

  A replica of a Belgium gun, used by the Germans during World War II. There is an original one the army museum in Brussels.

  German 3,7cm Panzer Abwehr Kanone (Pak), anti-tank gun. Because of the poor performance during the war, it was nicknamed "Panzer Anklopf Gerät" ("knocking on armour device")
