This museum is in the Schleusebunker of St. Nazaire. The bunker was constructed in 143 and is 160m long, 25m wide and 13m high. The bunker protected (U-)boats when locking through against enemy attacks.

The bunker itself has three Flakstände and a 6-Schartenurm (the heaviest one of 110 ton) on the roof.
