5 of these Wasserwerke ("waterworks") bunkers were (partly constructed):
- Wasserwerk Valognes (aka Bauvorhaben 7, B7), near Valognes/Cherbourg
-
Wasserwerk Saint Pol (aka Wasserwerk 1), in Siracourt
- Wasserwerk Desvres,
near Lottinghem
- Wasserwerk Cherbourg (aka Bauvorhaben 8, B8), near Martinvast/Cherbourg
- Wasserwerk 2 (aka Ersatz Bauvorhaben 8, Minenlager, Oelbunker Cherbourg),
Brécourt. This construction is different that the drawing above shows.
All these sites were heavily bombed and therefore, no site was ever completed
and came into action.
